No topic remains more important than our relentless focus on improving the quality of teacher preparation for the candidates and their students in the State of Texas. This year's winter retreat will focus on revising and refining our own practices in novice teacher prep development to ensure our candidates are best set-up for success to meet pending state performance-based assessment requirements and improve the educational outcomes of their students.
